Performance analysis of a stand-alone synchronous reluctance generator under unbalanced conditions

<span lang="EN-US">A stand-alone self-excited wind energy conversion system (WECS) is considered commonly used in remote areas due to its simple control and low cost. This paper introduces the performance analysis of a reluctance generator (SERG) under balanced unbalanced operations. An asymmetrical component proposed obtain positive negative sequence components voltages currents addition voltage factor SERG. The obtained results have been validated compared with experimental from laboratory prototype 5.5 kW synchronous driven by dc motor as prime-mover excitation capacitors loads. comparison verifies applicability model.</span>
